Privacy notice
Asevira collects nothing.
Effective September 15, 2026
In short. There is no account to create, no server to connect to, no advertising. What you write in the app — aspirations, behaviors, entries, notes — stays on your iPhone and never leaves it.
Who is responsible for your data
Asevira is written and published by Massimo Bacci. Questions about this notice: info@asevira.com.
What stays on the phone
Everything the app knows about you, you wrote yourself, and it lives in a local database inside the app:
- the aspirations and behaviors you create, with their names, symbols and colors;
- the entries: the day, an optional amount, an optional note;
- the challenges, the pace you set yourself and the times of your reminders;
- the app's settings: language, appearance, the hour your day starts.
None of this is sent to me or to anyone else: the app never goes online.
What I don't do
- No account, no sign-up, no email address required.
- No analytics, no advertising identifier, no profile of you.
- No third-party code that collects anything: the only library (GRDB) manages the local database and never connects to anything.
- No advertising, and no selling of data — I have none to sell.
Reminders
If you allow notifications, reminders are created and shown by your iPhone. They pass through no server and tell no one what you meant to do. You can turn them off whenever you like, in iOS Settings.
Phone backups
If you back up your iPhone (to iCloud or a computer), the backup may include Asevira's data along with every other app's. iCloud backups fall under Apple's own privacy policy; I have no access to any backup.
What goes through Apple
Downloads and purchases happen on the App Store: Apple handles that data as an independent controller. All I receive are anonymous, aggregate statistics (how many installs, in which countries) that identify no one. If you have chosen to share diagnostics with developers, Apple may send me crash reports: they describe the device and the error, not your entries.
How to erase everything
Delete the app and its data goes with it. Inside the app you can also delete individual aspirations and behaviors, along with their entries: when the confirmation says they will be gone, they are gone. An entry you undo disappears from view, but stays in the database until you delete its behavior or the app.
Your rights
European law (GDPR) gives you the right to access your data, correct it, erase it and object to its processing. Here, those rights take care of themselves: the data is on your phone — you see it, correct it and erase it whenever you like, without going through me, because I hold no copy of it. If you have a question anyway, or something to report, write to the address above.
If this notice changes
If one day the app does something different, this page will say so first, and the date at the top will change.
